SINGAPORE: Several M1 customers were unable to make calls and had issues sending and receiving messages on Monday ( Nov 11 ) afternoon.  ,
At about 3.10pm, more than 1, 800 information related to the communications firm were seen on outage-tracking web Downdetector.  ,
” We are aware that some customers are unable to use voice calls or send/receive SMSes” , , said M1 in a Facebook post at around 3.15pm.  ,
” Our engineers are investigating, and we will discuss updates as soon as we can”.
As long as the company’s wireless information communication remained intact, the damaged clients could continue to make calls using their data.
In an update about 20 minutes after, M1 said that the matter had been resolved.
” All affected tone contact and SMS providers are now entirely restored”, it said.
” We thank our clients for their endurance and understanding”.
Within 10 minutes of M1’s Twitter post posting, more than 30 people left comments, with some saying they were frustrated with being unable to make calls or get one-time passwords via SMS.
At least two reviewers claimed that their portable data was also being hampered by the situation.
