Luxury Sathon condo construction permit revoked

Due to the tower style of” The 125 Sathorn” luxury condo task being larger than permitted by law, the Central Administrative Court has revoked a building permit and environmental impact assessment( EIA ) statement.

The 125 Sathorn, which is constructed on a three-rai plot of land next to The Met Condominium on Sathon Road, was ordered to be suspended by the judge on September 27, according to Chidchanok Lertampornpaisarn, manager of the company.

According to Ms. Chidchanok, The Met’s legal team and property product owners filed a lawsuit against the relevant state agencies that granted permission to build The 125 Sathorn and the EIA report.

She claimed that the project had an effect on The Met’s residents while it was being built and will have an impact on their quality of life and that of the local communities once it is finished.

She claimed that Pebble Bay( Thailand ), which had a 10-rai plot and permission to build tall buildings, once owned the land. On a seven-rai plot of land, it constructed The Met property with 66 stories. The undertaking was finished in 2008.

However, the business sold the uninhabited three-rai area narrative in 2004. PMT Property, a cooperative venture between Thoresen Thai Agencies Plc and two Japanese business associates, Kanden Realty & amp, Development Co Ltd and Toray Construction Ltd., now owns the story.

The 125 Sathorn job was introduced by PMT Property in June. The 8 billion ringgit project will consist of two structures with 36 stories each. In August 2021, the task was given EIA acceptance.

But, Ms. Chidchanok claimed that The Met’s legal team and the owners of condominium units complained to the court, pleading for the EIA method to be transparent. The 125 Sathorn initiative is bigger than the permitted length for three ra of land, she added, so they also questioned the building permit.

She continued,” The judge’s last ruling can serve as a model for concerned government in handling such matters.”
