More than 950, 000 Singaporean households living in HDB flats will receive U- Save and Service &amp, Conservancy Charges ( S&amp, CC ) rebates in April.

The Ministry of Finance announced on Thursday that these rebates help lower to middle-income households pay for the pay GST and supply cost-of-living support.

The subsidies -&nbsp, disbursed in April, July, October and January each time- are &nbsp, part of the permanent&nbsp, GST Voucher scheme&nbsp, and the&nbsp, Assurance Package.

Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced in his Budget 2024 speech&nbsp, that&nbsp, the Assurance Package will be enhanced by a further S$ 1.9 billion.

More U-Save benefits will be added to bring full U-Save rebates to up to S$ 950, or two and a half times the usual number for the 2024 fiscal year.

This will typically cover the costs of electricity bills for those who reside in one- and two-room apartments and those who reside in three- and four-room apartments for about four months.

There will also be an extra quarter- quarter of S&amp, CC return in January 2025, for a full of up to four weeks of S&amp, CC return in FY2024. &nbsp,

The S&amp, CC rebates will be credited directly to homes ‘ S&amp, CC records with their respective village councils, while the U-Save subsidies will be credited directly to households ‘ SP Services utility accounts.
