The Mariners were initially billed over the conduct of their spectators as well. However , this charge had not been mentioned in the FAS verdict.

In video footage from SPL’s official highlights from the Jul 24 match, Kim and Fahrudin are initially seen in close proximity, with Fahrudin’s left hand on Kim’s shoulder.

As the 2 men square as much as each other, Kim seems to move his forehead towards Fahrudin’s encounter. Fahrudin then keels over, clutches his face and methods away from the scene.

All this happened in the technical area of the Jalan Besar Stadium in the 87th minute of the match, which was won by the Sailors 2-1.

INSTRUCTORS FELL SHORT OF REQUIREMENTS

The FAS Disciplinary Committee (DC) reached its judgement on Wednesday night time after convening upon Aug 4 to know the case.

The particular sanctions were determined upon after all proof was reviewed and studied by the Disciplinary Committee, FAS stated.

The panel “considered several factors prior to deriving the particular sanctions meted out”, said chairperson E Bala Chandran.

“On the issue of the fines handed out to the two clubs for that conduct, the DC noted that the situation did not escalate into a brawl and the suit was not abandoned of the same quality sense ultimately won, ” he mentioned.

“The DC concluded that the works of both (Kim) and (Fahrudin) were of violent perform and that they, as authorities who are expected to support professionalism and sportsmanship in such situations, got fallen short of expectations. ”

With regard to the higher fine enforced on Fahrudin, Mister Bala Chandran declared that the Tampines associate coach was observed via video footage “to have moved in the direction of (Kim) on 3 separate occasions, which inturn further escalated the problem, rather than defusing it”.

“In this regard, the DC agreed that his actions merit the larger fine imposed, ” he said.

The clubs may receive FAS’ official notice of decision on Thursday.
