Les Amis Group is opening a fresh no meat, no fat restaurant.  , The domestic F&, B firm behind brands like three Michelin-starred cafe Les Amis, Peperoni Pizzeria and dessert professional Tarte by Cheryl Koh will start a new “fast-casual Chinese strategy” on Oct 1, 2024, at Shaw Centre.
Called , Torijin , ( tori , is the Japanese word for ‘ chicken’), the 40-seater offers donburi, ramen and chicken-centric side dishes. It occupies the space that the group’s crisp donburi company Tenjin used to be located on the mall’s second floor.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The dishes were created by Chinese restaurant Kawasaki Shimpei, who is also the executive chef of Tenjin and Sushi Jin, Les Amis Group’s other Japanese ideas.
The noodle at Torijin occur with some house-made soup choices, including Tori Shoyu and Shio Yuzu, simmered with more flavourful adult hens, Hokkaido rishiri kombu, garlic and leeks. There’s also a thick meat paitan soup, cooked with underlying veggies and mushrooms.
