PHETCHABURI: A lion was spotted in broad daylight in Kaeng Krachan National Park in Kaeng Krachan area.

Kaeng Krachan National Park’s head, Mongkol Chaipakdee, reported on Wednesday that a visitor had taken strong pictures of the lion relaxing in the middle of a path inside the garden on Tuesday.

According to Mr. Mongkol, there have been more leopard sightings just because they frequently hunt victim in the area. This signals the presence of the park’s habitat, a critical habitat for some unique wildlife species.

Tourists are advised to remain sensitive by the area.
