Wes Ball from The Maze Runner will direct, and distinguished video game custom Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad from the Spider-Man series will co-produce.
There is currently no information on who will make up the cast or the movie’s story.
The story of Link, an elf-like character, who battles the demon king Ganon to protect Princess Zelda, serves as the basis for The Legend of Zedda.
Along with Super Mario Bros., it is one of the most popular Nintendo businesses in Japan. Since its 1986 introduction, the sport has undergone numerous spin-offs that have sold millions of copies.
The past Zelda game, Breath of the Wild, sold an estimated 30 million files.
It will be difficult for the future film to win over fans of Legend of Zelda.
Both critics and fans have criticized past film adaptations of well-known video games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter.
