Korean prisoner livestreamed while in Thai custody

Two immigration soldiers are subject to administrative penalties.

According to Immigration Bureau official Pol Maj Gen Cherngron Rimpadee on Wednesday, two immigration officials in Chon Buri could face punishment for allowing a North Korean drug presume to broadcast while they are being held in custody.

Seo Jung Num, 44, was detained while he was being taken to Bangkok for imprisonment, but his arrest was brought to light by sending photos of him while he was being detained.

The North Korean is wanted for drug smuggling, according to Pol Maj Gen Cherngron on Wednesday in his native country. Officials in Chon Buri detained him on October 3 and discovered him to had overstayed his immigration by 373 times.

He was kept in prison while preparations were made to send him back to South Korea, and the Pattaya jury gave him a suspended statement and a 3, 000 baht fine. He was eventually transferred to the immigration detention center in Bangkok and then to Bang Lamung authorities station in Chon Buri.

North Korean media outlets Maeil and JTBC&nbsp, carried information on the event. The believe, according to the report, recorded a live-stream of his arrest while running his personal YouTube channel.

The suspect was spotted smoking a cigar and thanking his supporters for their assistance, saying it showed him more brave. &nbsp,

He jokingly described being tempted to leave because of the beauty of the surroundings, shared a panoramic view of Pattaya beach, and urged viewers to like and listen to his channel. The film runs for one afternoon 36 moments.

The 44-year-old dubbed himself” the richest person in Thailand” and described the circumstances in Thai prison as being more stringent than those at home. He mentioned that using a smartphone while he was being held was allegedly made feasible by paying a bribe, allowing him to stay in touch while he was being detained.
