Kitchener Road murder: Six people to be charged after fatal coffee shop fight

SINGAPORE: Six people will be charged&nbsp, on Monday ( Sep 23 ) for their alleged involvement in the murder of a 25-year-old man, a day after the fatal fight at a coffee shop near Kitchener Road.

The defendants are aged between 20 and 24, the officers said in a press release.

One of them, a 22-year-old person may get charged with murder.

The various five- three men and two women- may become charged&nbsp, with the infraction of violence armed with lethal weapon.

The authorities said on Sunday that they were called to the circumstance at&nbsp, Verdun Road&nbsp, at about 4.05am.

Two people, aged 24 and 25, were unconscious when they were taken to the hospital. &nbsp, The 25-year-old gentleman later died.

The fight took place at a coffee shop close to 16 Verdun Road, according to an 8world statement.

Blood was discovered close to Kim San Leng Eating House and a short distance away in front of the Novotel Singapore lodge along Kitchener Road in the Farrer Park neighborhood.

The death penalty is imposed for the crime of murder, while a 10-year prison sentence and a punishment for the offense of rioting while using deadly force while incarcerated.

Authorities investigations are ongoing.
