According to a Royal Office report, His Majesty the King has created a new collection of comic designs featuring Buddhist teachings that he wanted to share with all Thais.
His Majesty the King has carried out various missions to encourage and help Buddhism in order for all Buddhist to benefit from the Dhamma rules the Buddha taught, according to the report.
The king has given great importance to teaching Dhamma principles to all Buddhists in the nation so they can practice and learn them so that they can end their suffering by achieving intelligence and revolution, which is Buddhism’s final goal.
The lessons depicted on the designs are, in the royal office’s opinion, based on the Dhammanava view of Chiang Rai’s Phra Jaruvanno Bikkhu, or Phra Ajarn Ton.
The teachings that His Majesty’s designs discuss include the importance of remembering the values of the Triple Gems while practicing yoga, contemplation of the system in six rounds, the need to see one’s thoughts, comprehending the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Noble Path, and the belief in the Buddha’s enlightenment.
