Key health policy goes nationwide

According to the National Health Security Office ( NHSO ), the fourth and final phase of the 30-baht” Treatment Anywhere” universal healthcare scheme officially began yesterday in the 31 remaining provinces.

Dr Athaporn Limpanylers, assistant NHSO secretary-general, confirmed the plan then covers all of Thailand’s 76 regions.

He said this essential health policy was launched on Jan 7 last year in four pilot regions: Phrae, Roi Et, Phetchaburi and Narathiwat. He also outlined the NHSO’s targets for driving the plan.

The objectives include enhancing ease and speed so that people can access healthcare services close to their properties.

The objectives also include ensuring timely payment of healthcare providers ‘ needs and the use of artificial intelligence ( AI ) systems for pre-payment verification to speed up and speed up processing.

Dr. Athaporn argued that the effective integration of information systems and smooth data sharing between service providers is crucial.

He emphasized that support and insurance providers may provide up-to-date service and reimbursement data.

The NHSO has also increased support affordability by adding telephone lines to its 24/7 hotline 1330, which allows users to make appointments and requests for assistance.

The program also integrates with the NHSO’s databases for real-time company identification.

Additionally, the NHSO has begun hiring more volunteers to help with line functions. Furthermore, communication channels such as Line ( @NHSO ), Traffy Fondue, and Facebook have been set up for public access.

As of Dec 27, there are 13, 004 medical models operating in the system, including 788 health clinics, 1, 394 medical clinics, 5, 491 pharmacies, 4, 344 medical clinics, 340 physical treatment clinics, and 453 standard Thai healthcare clinics.

Thus far, 7.04 million people have accessed service.

On December 23, the NHSO clarified the billing guidelines for the participating medical service units.
