Three sailors are missing after a South Korean-flagged ship overturned down the west coast of Japan, and at least eight seamen have been saved.
The crew radioed for assistance on Wednesday at 7:00 PM ( 22: 00 GMT Tuesday ), and the Keoyoung Sun capsized off Yamaguchi prefecture. Boats and airplane were dispatched to assist the Japanese beach guard.
The fleet was apparently at anchor because of the stormy weather.
No information of its goods were immediately available.
The vehicle is described as an “oil/chemical ship” on shipping websites.
The recovery operation has been conducted near to Shimonoseki, which is a city.
According to Asian media reports, the team consists of eight Indonesians, eight Koreans, and one Chinese national.
Winds measuring up to 54km ( 33 miles ) per hour were measured in the area on Wednesday.
