
A student association in India reported harassment and intimidation of students from Indian-administered Kashmir on Thursday ( Apr 24 ), following a gruesome attack in the Himalayan region that resulted in the death of more than 20 Indian men.
26 men were killed by gunmen on Tuesday in the holiday cuisine of Pahalgam, all of whom were Nepalis, in the deadliest civilian assault in the region’s disputed Muslim-majority territory since 2000.
Individuals claimed that the gunmen had aimed at men, sparing those who could sign the Islamic declaration of faith, as reported by American media.

According to Jammu and Kashmir Students Association chairwoman Nasir Khuehami, Kashmiri students in states like Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh were reportedly asked to leave their occupied apartments or college dorms on Wednesday.
Students were physically and verbally abused and harassed at a school in Himachal Pradesh after the guesthouse windows were broken, according to Khuehami.
He continued, claiming that the kids were called “terrorists.”
” This is not just a safety issue,” he said. It is a purposefully and selective plan of hatred and denigration against students from a specific race and nationality.
Around 20 individuals flung to the airport in Uttarakhand’s funds city Dehradun on Wednesday despite receiving instructions from Hindu Raksha Dal, a border right-wing organization.
The kids claimed that if they did not leave city at the earliest, the party threatened Kashmiri Muslim individuals with severe consequences.
