The government denies asking for donations to support military working dogs (K-9 ) deployed in rescue operations after the earthquake.
Deputy state official Karom Phonphlang said on Sunday current social media posts seeking donations for research dogs sent to aid recovery efforts at the decline site where dozens of workers remained trapped were false.
The government is advised to reject any payment appeals, he said.
The explanation was made after a communication circulated on social media soliciting funds to support the defense performing dogs.
He said the pets are cared for by the military’s professionals and undergo evaluations to assure they are healthy and fit for businesses.
These specially educated puppies are also supervised by professional operators with safety precautions in place.
The state expressed appreciation to all parties involved in the recovery efforts.
Exclusive search and rescue teams have been sent to develop operations and he could ensure there are no shortages of personnel, products, or technology at present, he said.
The March 28 disaster has affected numerous parts of Thailand, with the most serious damage at the fell State Audit Office creating in Chatuchak area.
” The government is working to provide urgent support to those affected”, Mr Karom said.
