Japan’s crown prince praises Vietnam ties during Hanoi visit

HONOI: On Friday, September 22, after praising ties between the two nations during a six-day attend, Crown Prince Akishino of Japan met President Vo Van Thuong of Vietnam.

According to Akishino, Chinese trading activities grew during the 16th and 17th centuries in the northern towns of Danang and Hoi An.

Emperor Akihito was the first Chinese emperor to travel to Vietnam in 2017.
