Nihon Hidankyo, a Chinese class of nuclear weapon survivors, has won the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize.

Joergen Watne Frydnes, the head of the Nobel Committee, praised the “extraordinary work” of the organization whose plan” contributed significantly to the creation of the nuclear taboo.”

The success was revealed at a meeting in Norway on Friday, where Mr. Frydnes remarked,” This stigma against the use of atomic weapons is under force.”

The Norway Nobel Committee applauded the team’s use of witness testimony to prevent the use of nuclear weapons ever again.
