TOKYO: A Chinese buoy floating in waters within Japan’s exclusive economic zone( EEZ ) has been removed, according to an official on Wednesday( Sep 20 ), referring to a region close to islands that both nations have claimed.
According to a foreign government established,” we have been lodging demonstrations in both Tokyo and Beijing since Japan’s coast guard in July found an boat” in the East China Sea region of the EEZ.
The boat was spotted in waterways close to the Senkakus and Diaoyus islands in China and Japan, respectively.
The standard said, on the condition of anonymity,” We have demanded the immediate expulsion of the boat as it is against foreign rules” to construct a framework in Japan’s EEZ without its consent.
According to the standard, China had positioned a boat in the East China Sea’s EEZ in 2018.
Chinese-Japanese relations have deteriorated since Tokyo’s launch from August 24 of treated waste from the Fukushima nuclear flower, adding years of hostility between the two nations.
In retaliation, Beijing outright prohibited all Japanese shrimp goods.
