A dolphin provides bitten two more swimmers on the arm, in what is considered to be the latest in a string of attacks on the Japanese beach.
According to local media , at least one man has been taken to hospital upon Thursday after encountering the sea mammal.
Japanese officials believe exactly the same dolphin is responsible for a minimum of six related attacks so far this summer.
While dolphins are not usually aggressive to people, hostility towards swimmers is not unheard of.
Nearby media reported that certain man was injured on both his arms on Thursday early morning, which was followed by one more attack the same mid-day on a second guy – who suffered injuries to fingertips on his left hands.
The incidents each took place at Koshino Beach, a popular destination for swimmers and dolphins alike near the traditional western Japanese city of Fukui.
Officials have now set up ultrasonic transmitters along the beach in the wish that its high-frequency noises will deter dolphins from the area.
Swimmers have also been warned of the dangers presented by the wild creatures – and have been instructed to avoid any kind of in the water.
It is not currently clear exactly what species of dolphin had been involved in the attack.
Based on local media, dolphins in the area have become used to human interaction and also have been sighted in extremely shallow parts of the beach : including in knee-depth waters.
Globally, dolphin attacks are rare but not uncommon.
Scientists have recommended that wild bottlenose dolphins find swimming together with humans “incredibly difficult, ” finding evidence that it disrupts their behavioural routines.
In Ireland in europe two women were hurt in the space associated with ten days in 2013 by the exact same dolphin , including one who suffered from the broken rib.
As well as hatred towards humans – dolphins are known at times to act extremely violently in the direction of their fellow sea creatures.
