For the first time ever, the American space agency Isro safely conducted area docking by combining two small craft in space.
The advancement is crucial for the government’s plans to establish an American place station and send a person to the Moon.
The mission called SpadeX blasted off from Sriharikota launch pad in southern India on 30 December. The spacecraft, lunched on a single rocket, separated in space. The docking process, initially scheduled for 7 January, was rescheduled a number of times.
The area agency announced on Thursday night that it had made history by becoming the only nation in the world with such systems after the United States, Russia, and China.
