Israelis in Thailand urged to be vigilant

According to the Times of Israel, Israeli officials have warned their Thai nationals to be extra diligent in light of rumors that they might be targeted during the Koh Phangan Full Moon Party on Friday.

Following a review that Thai authorities had made interior files a warning about potential terrorist attack plots against Israelis in the nation, the Mossad and the National Security Council issued the precaution.

Specifically, the notice was said to target on the famous regular Full Moon Party, according to Ynet, the online shop of the Hebrew-language paper Yedioth Ahronoth.

Koh Phangan, and its functions, are extremely popular with younger Israelis.

Thai authorities have been conducting rigorous procedures in recent days in response to the notifications, which are based on factual information, according to Ynet.

In response to the report, the Mossad and National Security Council said:” Over recent decades, Israeli security solutions in cooperation with Thai stability have acted to prevent many incidents” in the country.

Iran and its proxies have increased their efforts to hurt Israeli and Hebrew goals around the world since Oct 7 and the conflict [in Gaza].

According to the Times of Israel, the National Security Council’s risk levels in Thailand has not changed.

But, it urged Israelis to be vigilant, refrain from profanity about being Jewish or Jewish, refrain from attending large-scale events that are associated with Israelis, refrain from posting their travel plans in advance on social media, and call local security if they suspect any hostile behavior against Israelis or Jews.
