Immigration officers allowed travelers who were forced to travel to Suvarnabhumi aircraft to stay in either a lodge or the airport after they were given the keys by immigration officers.

The action was taken as Iraq, Israel, and Jordan all closed their aircraft, affecting planes to Israel and other local nations starting Saturday night.

According to airports immigration officer Pol Maj Gen Choengron Rimpadee, El Al Israel Airlines informed immigration officers at Suvarnabhumi aircraft that it had to take two Israel-bound planes up to Thailand as a result of Iran’s assault on Israel.

The airlines able to achieve Tel Aviv were LY82 ( Suvarnabhumi- Tel Aviv) carrying 275 citizens and LY88 ( Paradise- Tel Aviv) with 290 individuals aboard. They returned at 5.20am and 5.50am both on Sunday.

Because their visas had already been stamped for departure, passengers on such returning airlines do typically have to sit at the airport, according to Pol Maj Gen Choengron.

However, the Immigration Bureau chose to show mercy in this situation and allow people to stay at hotels that their airlines have set up, especially for elderly and young people.

The airlines will maintain their passports and make sure they wo n’t enter the country illegally.

The travellers may also have the option of waiting at the airport to avoid having to wait in line for immigration paperwork once more.
