The Criminal Court ordered Prasit Jeowkok, 52, to pay one billion ringgit in payment to his subjects and sentenced him to a full of 1, 155 years in prison on Monday for an investment fraud.
In 2020 and 2021, the court discovered that Prasit, a Krabi county local, and two other defendants persuaded numerous online users to invest in what they claimed were tour packages, cooperatives that rented out upscale goods. They promised large profits, but none of them materialized.
They were found guilty of computer crime and common fraud by the court.
Consequenced sentences for 321 offenses make up the 1, 155-year statement. The law, but, caps real service at 20 years.
On May 17, 2021, Prasit turned himself in and was held at Nonthaburi’s Bang Kwang Central Prison. On December 22 of last year, He & nbsp attempted to flee the Criminal Court.
