A senior executive of one of the contractors for the collapsed State Audit Office ( SAO ) building in Bangkok gave testimony on Tuesday regarding the Department of Special Investigation ( DSI)’s ( DSI) contracting process.
According to Pol Lt Col Amorn Hongsrithong, chairman of the Bureau of Government Procurement Fraud at the DSI, Kriengsak Kovadhana, executive vice president of Italian-Thai Development Plc ( ITD), questions were raised about the selling process, labor supply, and payment plans.
10 technicians involved in the construction project were likewise summoned to speak on Tuesday about the integrity of their names on project documents besides Mr. Kriengsak. According to Pol Lt Col Amorn, prosecutors will examine the records ‘ names in relation to those on them.
