Officers reported on Friday that alleged rebels reportedly set fire to several locations throughout the three southern border regions of Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat immediately.

In Pattani, four convenience shops in Muang, Yaring, Yarang and Khok Pho towns were set ablaze. Car tires were set on fire at three sites, two in Khok Pho and the other in Panare.

Col Ekwarit Chobchuphon, spokesman to the Internal Security Operations Command ( Isoc ) Region 4 Forward Command, said on Friday that assailants wreaked havoc on more than 30 locations in Narathiwat, Pattani and Yala.

One man was found dead at a fresh petrol station in Pattani, said Col Ekwarit.

One death, according to a supply at Isoc, was a Myanmar person working at a convenience shop in Pattani’s Mayo district’s substance. There were 39 problems that took place from 1am until Friday night, said the source.
