GOMBAK: Information on a social media influencer have been leaked on-line, prompting him to lodge a police report.
In the statement Wednesday (July 20), Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Zainal Mohamed stated that the report had been lodged on July 19.
“The influencer saw that his photos and notice of summons for a traffic offence with private details have been circulating on the web, ” he stated.
The case has been investigated for disclosure of information and improper use of network providers.

Previously, the particular influencer in question had been issued a subpoena by the police right after he was caught driving without a permit.
