NEW DELHI: The Indian railways minister claimed on Monday ( Mar 4 ) that the train’s drivers were distracted while they were watching cricket on a phone and missed a signal and crashed into another train, killing 14 people.

According to the Press Trust of India media company, the loco-pilot and co-pilot were distracted by the baseball match in a new situation in Andhra Pradesh, according to Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw.
” We are now installing systems that can recognize such distractions and ensure that the secretary pilots and train drivers are completely focused on running the train.”
