Indian nationals regularly attacked by motorcyclists in Pattaya

PATTAYA: A number of Pattaya residents have accused some motorcycle riders and users of slapping Indian customers ‘ heads as they pass by.

In Pattaya, CCTV film has been posted website that shows motorcyclists and their pillion riders generally slamming heads at Indians. According to the plaintiffs, these assailants were young men riding motorcycles and some even wore school clothes. Late at night, they targeted Indians.

American business Santa Singh, 58, reported on Wednesday evening that situations like these have occurred on Pattaya 2 Road leading to Khao Phra Tamnak hill several times over the past year.

The most recent event, according to Mr. Singh, occurred on Tuesday at 10.58 p.m. when two gentlemen in their 20s rode a bike past some Indian nationals. The rider rider finally slapped one Indian’s head tight before escaping.

A 28-year-old Thai massage who identified herself as Nat claimed to have witnessed a rider horse systematically slapping American citizens’ faces along Soi VC Road and that she had reprimanded the intruder.

A vehicle motorist who used the name Tao claimed that these incidents frequently occurred and that attackers occasionally were dressed as students. He claimed that the subjects were walking along the street with American tourists and that attackers occasionally yelled abuse at them.

Witnesses claimed that these situations typically took place in Pattaya’s places where Indian nationals operated hotels, restaurants, treatment parlours, and tour companies.
