Believe linked to 13 legal cases in household country, say police
In Bangkok’s Phra Nakhon city, an American man has been detained on suspicion of a number of crimes, including murder and kidnapping.
Immigration officers and other officers arrested Parveen” Kala” Kumar, 27, an American nationwide, at a restaurant in Bang Khun Phrom region of Phra Nakhon region on Thursday.
Mr Kumar was wanted in connection with 13 legal situations in his state and had fled to Thailand, Pol Maj Gen Phanthana Nutchanart, deputy chief of the Immigration Bureau, said on Friday.
The Armed Forces Security Centre tipped off about an American federal who had been seen acting curiously, leading to the imprisonment. He often appeared at a hotel in the Bang Khun Phrom neighborhood.
Emigration soldiers launched an investigation into the identity of the man. The Indian ambassador assisted them in reviewing his record after which they requested assistance from them.
The officials were told that the person was a dangerous man wanted in 13 legal situations, including murder, attempted murder, assault, violence and weapons infractions, said Pol Maj Gen Phanthana.
The Immigration Bureau is holding the suspect in custody until his land is deported, where he can file a legal case there.  ,
