As the nuclear-armed neighbors ‘ conflict grew more violent, Pakistan’s armed forces “multiple attacks” were carried out along India’s entire western border on Thursday night and early on Friday ( May 9 ), according to the Indian army.
Since India struck several places in Pakistan on Wednesday, which it claimed were “terrorist tents,” the old enemies have been fighting. This was in retaliation for a fatal attack last fortnight in its restive region of Kashmir, which claimed Islamabad was involved.
Pakistan refuted the claim.
Since then, nearly four hundred people have died in the murder in exchange for cross-border fire and shelling and have since sent drones and missiles into each other’s aircraft.
India’s army claimed in an X article that Muslim soldiers had also committed “numerous peace violations” along their de facto borders in Kashmir, a area that is contested by both countries but fully claimed by both.
The army claimed that” the drone attacks were effectively repulsed and befitting response was given to the CFVs (ceasefire violations ), adding that “force” would be used to combat all “nefarious designs” in response.
Pakistan did not respond to the American declaration right away.
Islamabad had previously denied attacking 15 American sites, calling the accusations “unfounded” and “politically inspired,” including Pathankot city in Punjab state, Srinagar in the Kashmir valley, and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan position.
