India election: Modi eyes gains in southern states to secure goal of 400-seat majority

Fight OF Beliefs

The struggle for the South centers on philosophy. The Dravidian philosophy, which essentially unites South Indians as a single identification, is the foundation of the local parties. &nbsp,

Unlike the BJP’s Hindu nationalism, which is seen to be about Hinduism or Hindi, Dravidian functions, at various times in history, have preached a patriotism specific to the South in order to safeguard its culture, language and objectives. &nbsp,

To various degrees, the regional events have accused second the Congress, and more recently, the BJP, of trying to impose the Hindi speech on the South. &nbsp,

Amit Shah of the BJP’s Home Affairs Minister tweeted in 2019 that it is crucial for India to have one speech and that Hindi is best suited for India’s personality recognition worldwide.

Mr. Annamalai defended Mr. Modi as an equitable leader, but he disagreed with the idea.

” We do n’t believe in one language as a common language. This is only in perception”, he said. Because Modi is a real pan-India head, I want to correct anyone who is spreading this story. This election does definitively ending the so-called north-south fault line.

BATTLE FOR KERALA Tickets

Rahul Gandhi, the head of the main opposition party in Kerala, has issues related to those with Mr. Modi and his party in the state where the BJP has not won a lower house seat.

” The BJP wants to establish one story, one region, one language on the persons of India”, said Mr Gandhi, who is defending his chair in Wayanad area.

His top party partner, Dr Shashi Tharoor, may be facing Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar in state investment Trivandrum.

Mr Tharoor said,” We see ourselves as a state of great diversities united in a typical state, whereas the BJP has a Hindi, Hindutva, Hindustan philosophy, which reduces the queen of an inclusive trust like Hinduism into hatred … the South is broadly united against the BJP’s strategy”.

Mr Chandrasekhar said:” Despite Tharoor having won three words, there are enough signs of neglect. The citizens of South India have been poisoned for a long time. Modi is the one who is promoting economic growth, advancement, and opportunities for all Indians.

The BJP’s pitching of Mr Chandrasekhar, seen as an attempt to stop Mr Tharoor from winning a third time, signifies how powerfully the group is trying to make gains in the South, said spectators.
