Although skygazers captured the celestial display in a number of cities, Singaporean observers were disappointed by some reports of cloudy or beautiful skies.  ,
This year, it was set to peak over the island between Sunday ( Aug 11 ) and Tuesday morning, with the best observation times between 3am and 6am, according to , local Facebook group Stargazing Singapore.
If you missed this square, look out for the , Geminids at the end of the time, peaking , on the day between Dec 13 and Dec 14.
The second supermoon of the year will be easier to place on August 20.  ,
