A French gentleman who offered massage treatment services on Koh Phangan has been detained for working in a profession that only exists among Thai citizens.

During a raid on a place at the Kissmoon Village location on the visitor island on Friday, tourist authorities and immigration officers detained Ky Jablonowski, 48, on Friday.

His treatment sleep was taken by officers. Officials searched him and discovered a bottle of MDMA in his pants pocket as he appeared to be acting strangely. He claimed a colleague gave him the substance while they were out together.

He claimed to have been a massage therapist and had also taught treatment to the soldiers during questioning. His charges were 3, 000 rmb per treatment. He had a website and even accepted WhatsApp tickets for treatment services and programs.

Mr. Jablonowski was accused of having a class 1 medicine in his possession and engaging in an occupation that was against the law for foreigners. He was turned over to the Koh Phangan police place for legal actions.
