I’ll be back, says Thaksin, taking a dig at the PM

Ousted leading Thaksin Shinawatra has responded to Prime Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) Prayut Chan-o-cha’s come-home challenge, saying he will return to Thailand.

“I’ll return for sure. I’ll definitely come back, ” mentioned Thaksin in a Wednesday night ClubHouse chat post under their alias Tony Woodsome.

Thaksin, who posts text messages on the platform regularly, also poked fun at Gen Prayut, saying he appeared to be thinking about him all the time.

“If he asks exactly where I am, I’ll state I’m always on his mind. When reporters ask him… or when there is a parliament debate, I’m the first on his mind, ” said the meandering prime minister.

Thaksin called on the prime minister to have a firm technique and said he was willing to provide advice.

His comments arrived after Gen Prayut challenged the Pheu Thai Party to bring two self-exiled former prime ministers — namely Thaksin great sister Yingluck Shinawatra — back home to solve the country’s issues. He was speaking on the first day time of the censure argument on Tuesday.

“As the prime minister, I don’t know everything. I am bad at everything. I am not someone you might say is the cleverest person. But where is usually he [Thaksin] now?

“I know you may admire many people who previously kept this position and compliment them for doing a better job than me. That’s good. Just bring them back again if you can, ” Style Prayut said on Tuesday.

When asked about Thaksin’s Clubhouse remarks, Gen Prayut pointed to his lips plus said: “Talking is what a mouth is perfect for. People can say anything they want. inch

Thaksin fled the country within 2008 shortly prior to being convicted by Supreme Court for abuse of power in connection with a land purchase deal, whilst Yingluck fled within 2017 shortly prior to the court sentenced the girl to five many years in jail designed for ignoring corruption in the first rice-pledging plan.

Within January this year, Thaksin announced a plan to end his self-imposed exile and return to Asia this year as “a gift for Thais”.
