In front of the families of his company’s investment companions, who lost their money and passed away after his company’s goods failed to sell, the image Group founder and CEO Warathaphon Waratyaworrakul cried and promised complete payment.

Mr. Warathaphon, 41, aka Boss Paul, met family members of victims of financial loss after participating in Kanchai Kamnerdploy’s popular Hon Krasae ( follow tides ) talk show on TV Channel 3 on Monday.

One person’s elder sibling, a native of Phayao state, apparently committed suicide by drinking weedkiller after his purchase in the team’s items bombed out.

She said her brother, Nikhom, had borrowed about 250, 000 ringgit from their family to invest in the products, and could not find a way out after his company failed. He already committed death two years ago.

The younger sister of a resigned federal official, who also passed away, was also on the program. She claimed that her brother, who had borrowed 250 000 baht from others, was really ill, had ignored the mother’s demands and had invested it in The iCon Group’s direct sales business. &nbsp,

He used all of his resources to pay for training programs and cocoa products that he could n’t sell.

The affected people apparently made their investments through the dealers of the firm group, who they claimed did not assist them despite their requests. One supervising dealer allegedly invited the deceased investor’s relative to even commit after that person passed away. &nbsp,

Another person, Patcharee, who suffers from influenza, heart disease and hypertension and uses a chair, even took part in the programme. She said she lost 170, 000-baht invested in materials from The image Group. Her older sister’s savings and a loan of about$ 100,000 helped her get the money.

Following a meeting with Mr. Warathaphon and other famous people, she had great hopes for her purchase. Otherwise, she lost it all. &nbsp,

Some people had made investments in the company as a result of the Covid-19 crisis.

Mr. Warathaphon said he had been conscious of the investors who were seriously ill, what happened to them, and that he had been profoundly sorry for their decline during the program. He occasionally cried during the program. His contact centre had received calls for business help, but had never been informed of any death by the team’s investment sellers, he said.

Mr. Warathaphon apologised and promised to take responsibility and use his money to make money out of the pockets of his buyers.

He even told Mr Kanchai, the movie’s host, that he started his business particularly to do direct marketing. It does both wholesale and retail.

Mr. Warathaphon claimed to have ten sellers who sold goods to his team and ran their own stores and dealers. &nbsp,

He claimed that his company started out selling only one protein product and later expanded to espresso products six years ago. The image Group now has 14 products, after he looked into opportunities for nutritional supplement products.

Mr. Warathaphon added that his enterprise just engaged actors and actresses to promote its goods and did not solicit business investment from outsiders.

The Central Investigation Bureau reported on Monday that they had interrogated 635 accusers in the case so far, and that they had lost 232.4 million ringgit in entire investment.

Additionally, another online complaints had also been received by police, which increased the total number of people complaining in the case to 1, 067 and the total alleged losses to 378 million baht.
