In order to discuss constitutional amendments later this month, House Speaker Wan Muhammad Noor Matha has agreed to meet with a House commission on social development, mass media, and open membership.

Mr Wan said he would meet with the commission on Nov 27 after its president, People’s Party MP Parit Wacharasindhu, expressed a wish to discuss the law and related problems, including the possibility of shortening the election process required.

If the proposed modifications, which are being proposed by the ruling Pheu Thai Party and the criticism Women’s Party, are useful to the public, the speaker said the House is prepared to work together and come up with solutions to end any deadlock.

According to Mr. Wan, any bills that go against the law or political rules will be put on the plan.

” As far as I’m concerned the Women’s Party charter-amendment documents are seeking to amend the contract on a section-by-section basis”, he said.

” However, we’ll have to verify the information first”.

Prior to any work being done, Mr. Wan has recently stated that before any changes can be made, a favourable election ballot must be cast in favor of changing crucial parts of the charter.

He backed the idea of three elections to stop the act process from being revoked by the Constitutional Court in the future.

He had originally objected to House discussion because he believed it would violate a 2021 contract court decision.

Before and after the new edition of the contract is drafted, the court’s decision required that members of the public be able to voice their opinions in a referendum.

Before the next general election in 2027, the commission’s proposed discussions with Mr. Wan aim to ensure that the nation will have a fresh constitution written by a charter-drafting assembly.

The state will have to choose between conducting two and three elections in order to do so.
