Hong Kong murder suspects cuffed at airport

Two people wanted in connection with a death in Hong Kong were detained by immigration officers at Suvarnabhumi Airport on Wednesday, according to the officers yesterday.

According to Pol Maj Gen Choengron Rimphadee, the Immigration Bureau’s chief, Enoch Yau Shu-Ko and Shimeobi Chinedu Nelson were on their approach to Thailand when the Immigration Bureau received a warning from Interpol.

The people were arrested at 6.40pm as they sought to provide Thailand. They were denied admittance, and they were taken to a holding area to be deported.

At 1pm monday, Pol Maj Gen Chengron reported that Hong Kong authorities were supposed to arrive to pick up the suspects for legal proceedings.
