Here’s what happened when the Star Search 2024 finalists were asked to come dressed in an outfit to impress a director

Has 8days now been five years old? roc did a photoshoot with Star Search contenders? &nbsp,

Since Donald Trump is president once more, the earth has significantly changed.

Now, we have 12 new fresh-faced contenders who are hoping to not only walk the same path as past winners, like Zoe Tay, Chew Chor Meng, Ivy Lee and Felicia Chin, but also bring home one of three BYD cars come this Sunday ( Nov 24 ) at the Grand Finals.

in the weeks leading up to the 8days. We asked them to wear an outfit they would use to a casting treatment during the roc take. &nbsp,

The effect? Matching colors of blacks, colors, cotton and yellow.

Pure chance or coordinated work? Maybe they’re spending too much time together that even their personalities have a synergy since the finalists assured us there was n’t any discussion beforehand.

Interestingly, they let on that they did n’t know there would be a photo shoot. Sigh!

But wait, there are scares in the show business, so much get used to that right away. &nbsp,

Naturally, there is always play in a photo shoot with that many participants.

Tan Zisheng, a student at Singapore Polytechnic, arrived in the much-mocked “SG uniform” of Taiwanese men, wearing an oversized Uniqlo AIRism tee.

The only exception, it turns out, was the poor child, who had to dress to impress people. He looked as blue as his shirt. &nbsp, &nbsp,

Marcus Sim, a dynamic breakdancer, joins the fight. The floppy-haired fella was seen leaping into his case and whipping out a plaid leading to lend&nbsp, Zisheng, saving the latter from a possible trend fail.

Gladys Bay, Marcus ‘ wife, and Gladys Bay’s wife, both complained that Amy Ang’s sneakers did n’t actually match her modern cheongsam, and she also offered her combat boots.

But why did Amy initially choose to wear shoes? ” My boots spoil”, we overheard her saying.

See, you can find true friends in celebrity, even if you’re in the wet of competitors. &nbsp,

Also, until it was time for the party photo. &nbsp,

As the rest of the team waited patiently for their designated center locations, swimmers Jona Chung and Amy made a run for them. Where’s your criminal instinct, people?

Then there were those who knew exactly which angle of their face the camera preferred and quickly&nbsp, choped ( reserved ) &nbsp, a spot on the side. You NTU kids, Clement Ng and Jadon Lim.

We do n’t care when we moved some of the faces around while trying to get the perfect shot after we noticed a few shaken faces a few minutes later.

We believe it might have been only us, but as our photog faded, a few of the more typically joyful ones ( we’ll leave it to you ) started to fade into the background.

Thankfully ( or not? ) People made the ice break.

” I’m dying”! after what appeared to be the single-shot of the day, bemoaned Jadon, raising eyelashes, and giving off a few frantic laughs. &nbsp,

Turns out, he was tired, eager, and, as the team’s minder whispered to our director, did no like smiling in pictures.
