IPOH: A helicopter with six people on board is believed to have crashed in Cameron Highlands, with three victims believed to be seriously hurt.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department director Azmi Osman said those on board included the pilot and five people who are believed to be Health Ministry staff members.
“Our STORM (Special Tactical Operation and Rescue Team) is on the way, and we are not sure of the condition of those on board the helicopter,” he said when contacted.
In a brief update, the department said all victims had been found.
According to a department spokesman, three people are believed to be seriously hurt.
He said efforts to rescue the six victims are ongoing.
The rescue effort involves firemen from Tapah and Cameron Highlands.
