The Meteorological Department’s forecast is for heavy rain to continue nationwide until Friday.
The department said on Wednesdaya monsoon trough lies over the lower North, the Central Plains, the East and the Northeast, and the strong monsoon continues in the South, the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
From Wednesday to Friday heavy wss expected over 60-80% of Greater Bangkok.
Small boats should stay ashore.
From Saturday to next Monday the monsoon trough would move to the North and the Northeast, and heavy rain would colntinue in some parts of the country, the department said.
Typhoon Hinnamnor over the Korean peninsula would not have any impact on Thailand, it said.
