KUALA LUMPUR: The Health Ministry has agreed to release its federal government medical stockpile to private hospitals and clinics facing shortages associated with medicine, says Khairy Jamaluddin.
Your decision, which takes effect immediately, comes carrying out a meeting on Thursday (July 14) among stakeholders and the ministry, said the Health Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich).

“Pharmaniaga Bhd handles the stockpile, and am have instructed the medicines to be launched to the private hospitals plus clinics facing shortages.
“The disadvantages of cough, flu, fever and kids’ medication continue to continue at health services, ” he informed the press in the Empowering Autism Preparedness and Response course here on Friday (July 15).

He said the source of the disadvantages can be attributed to and others, higher demand, which has exceeded expectations, and the increase of influenza-like illness (ILI).
He added the lockdown in Tiongkok and the geo-political concern in Ukraine were also contributing aspects to the shortages and supply of medicines.
