Harshita Brella ‘told family she believed husband will kill her’

supposedly, Harshita Brella reportedly told her mother that her father “was going to kill her” days before her body was discovered in a car in west London.

Authorities believe the 24-year-old was mortally strangled on November 10 in Corby, Northamptonshire, and driven to Ilford before her body was discovered on November 14th. Her father Pankaj Lamba is the crime prosecution’s perfect think.

” He was making her life miserable”, a sad Sudesh Kumari, Harshita’s family, told the BBC.

She remarked,” I will not go up to him. He may destroy me”.

Harshita’s family think Mr Lamba is in India but said police there were” not listening” to them. Local authorities have informed the BBC that the UK government has not requested an intervention.

Clutching a framed photograph of his child, Satbir Brella, 53, sobbed in the family’s poorly furnished living room in Delhi as he begged for justice.

In an interview with the BBC, he said,” I used to tell her, when I die I want you to accomplish my last ceremonies.” I had no thought I would have to perform hers, she said.

Harshita’s home reported that she miscarried in the weeks leading up to her death.

Delhi Police claim they are unable to do their own research because the alleged crime was committed in the UK. There is very little that can be done in India without making a problem.

Northamptonshire Police said its analysis” continues at speed” and is “following various lines of inquiry,” but it did not confirm whether it had spoken to Indian authorities.

Assistant Chief Constable Emma James continued,” Our number one priority is preserving the integrity of our investigation and ensuring justice for Harshita, and as a result, there are some aspects of this situation that we are able to comment on at the time.”

Both Mr Brella and Harshita’s sister, Sonia Dabas, said they had been told that Mr Lamba had hit his wife but alleged that the full scale did not become clear until she called her father crying on 29 August.

” She said’ he beat me truly hard. He actually beat me in the street'”, Mr Brella said. ” My girl was crying, crying so hard”.

When Mr. Lamba was released on bail two days later, he was arrested on September 3 and subject of a domestic violence protection order ( DVPO ) at the time of his release. The purchase barred him from harassing, pestering or intimidating Harshita, and he also had to give police £480 in prices.

The 28-day attempt ended on October 1st, but according to Ms. Dabas, Harshita and her family believed it would end on November 24th. The Northamptonshire Police said it had informed Harshita of the expiration time.

Her soul was uncoiled.

A legally wed union between Harshita and Mr. Lamba was arranged, and the bride was legally held in August 2023.

The pair celebrated a traditional American meeting on March 22 this year, and Harshita and her father, who was already in Corby, left for the UK at the end of April.

” She was quite gullible”, said Ms Dabas. ” Pretty accepting of persons. She was a youngster. Her soul was true”.

Harshita’s family claims that she next saw her child the moment she left to begin her new life in the UK at the airport in New Delhi.

She was sobbing a bit as she bid me farewell. I didn’t realize she was saying farewell to me for the next time”, cried Sudesh.

Ms. Dabas asserted that Harshita’s father was incredibly overbearing from the beginning while sat on a cream-colored acrylic chair next to her mother.

” I physically did not like him”, she said. ” He told her that you shouldn’t speak to your girlfriend. Instead of calling us when Pankaj was not present, Harshita told us to visit her.

” He was manipulating her. He was offering her a great life vision. She enjoyed it a lot. She believed him. She kept falling into his trap.

Ms. Dabas claimed that her sister lacked any financial exposure. Her father was in charge of both Harshita’s bank account and the money she earned from her work at a inventory.

” She couldn’t even get a chocolate for herself”, she added. ” She was living a life of abuse. Mentally and physically”.

When Mr. Lamba was detained, Harshita was identified by authorities as being at high risk of regional misuse and was placed in a shelter for her protection. Jason Smithers, the leader of North North North Yorkshire Council, claimed that Harshita’s protection plan was created at the same time.

That is when, according to her sister, Harshita became ill and had to go to the doctor. She found out she was pregnant. But within weeks, she lost the baby.

Three days after their last conversation with Harshita, her household contacted Northamptonshire Police with issues for her happiness. This resulted in the finding of her figure and the start of a murder investigation.

Due to officers ‘ prior interactions with Harshita, the force has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct ( IOPC ), which is a required step.

After her figure had been repatriated, dozens of people gathered outside the Brella home residence in India for her death on December 3.

Northamptonshire Police was in regular contact with Harshita’s home, according to ACC James.

She continued,” I want to become clear that a group of detectives working around the clock on the event is completely committed to bringing justice to Harshita Brella and her family.

” We does of course do so when we are able to provide more details to the general public about our research and the hunt for Harshita’s predator.”
