HANGZHOU: It was only fitting that the 19th Asian Games ended on Sunday( Oct 8 ) with an alluring spectacle of sight and sound at a meet where the host country China made every effort both inside and outside the sporting arena.
The final meeting, which used systems as an ode to the network area and those involved in the Games, tugged at heart at the crowded Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium.
Around 12, 000 runners from 45 countries competed in 40 activities at the Games, which were postponed by China’s measures to combat the COVID-19 crisis.
The meeting began with the nationwide hymn and a video showcasing Hangzhou’s beautiful scenery in front of dignitaries like China Premier Li Qiang.
On the club’s” electronic turf ,” a sizable network of more than 40, 000 illuminated areas covering the football field, players and the Games’ mascots took center stage. Singers serenaded the audience as 19 enormous Osmanthus flowers, the city plant of Hangzhou, emerged from the ground using electric projections.
The crowd greeted contingents from the participating countries while clapping their crimson fists to the audio.
