A female believe has been detained for delivering e-cigarettes immediately to students online and selling them. Additionally, authorities found some 1 million baht worth of proof.
Pol Maj Gen Witthaya Sriprasertpap, Consumer Protection Police Division ( CPPD ) commander, yesterday assigned CPPD Sub- Division 1 superintendent Kraiwit Saentaweesuk and officers to arrest a suspected e- cigarette seller, Jirapong ( surname withheld ), 23, from Phetchaburi at his dorm room in Nakhon Pathom’s Kamphaeng Saen district.
Inside the perpetrator’s space, 7, 600 parts of vaping products worth around one million ringgit were seized. They included closed system seeds, e- water bottles and expendable electronic- cigarettes.
The arrest was made after CPPD Sub-Divisional 1 officials were dispatched to detain illegal e-cigarette firms that targeted students.
They discovered a Line game chat area called” Vape Zone KPS V2,” where e-cigarette selling and buying were being made.
Numerous high school and university students were contacted to join the Line class. The contractor made door-to-door deliveries and product promotions.
