To improve the 30-baht universal healthcare system and increase access to medical care, the Ministry of Public Health intends to expand its” Smart Health Cabin” program.
Public Health Minister Somsak Thepsutin said on Saturday the all-in-one health check up restaurants, unveiled last week at Phra Nang Klao Hospital in Nonthaburi, are an inventive solution designed to support the president’s” 30-baht care anywhere” plan. This is especially true in regions where customers may attend fewer hospitals and clinics.
Individuals with minor conditions can consult doctors via telehealth services and get treatment for free from cabin-style pharmacies close to their homes as part of the structure. The program covers 42 health conditions.
Mr. Somsak claimed that the Smart Health Cabins may also reduce health personnel ‘ task.
They lessen the load on outpatient units during the day and at night, allowing skilled staff to concentrate on pressing matters.
He stated that the system is currently in place in four areas in Bangkok and that the government will expand it to more than 900 clinics under the Ministry of Public Health in the country.
