According to Deputy Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai, former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra has the full legal right to attend campaign rallies in Udon Thani and Surin provinces in preparation for the upcoming Provincial Administrative Organization ( PAO ) chair elections.
Mr Phumtham, who likewise serves as defence secretary and is a Pheu Thai older member, said he has not spoken to Thaksin about the author’s plan to join the fighting.
But, Thaksin is expected to attend demonstrations as a battle associate from Nov 13–14 in Udon Thani and from Nov 19–20 in Surin. On November 23 and 24, the candidates for the PAO head in Surin and Udon Thani will be voted.

Mr. Phumtham compared Pita Limjaroenrat to the main opposition People’s Party ( PP ), which is rumored to be supporting its candidate’s PAO chief poll in Udon Thani.
The MFP, dissolved for trying to subvert democratic dynasty, was reborn as the PP. As an MFP administrative, Mr Pita faces a 10-year social restrictions.
