SINGAPORE: Workers ‘ Party ( WP ) candidate Faisal Manap said on Monday ( Apr 26 ) that the contest for the Tampines GRC at Singapore’s May 3 General Election is about” a team versus another team.”
He referred to Masagos Zulkifli, the People’s Action Party ( PAP ) candidate for the Tampines GRC , who is both the minister for social and family development and the minister-in-charge of Muslim affairs.” I don’t see myself going against Masagos,” he said.
On the outside of a Tampines haywire, Mr. Faisal was responding to a problem from the internet. Before making a wonder move to lead the WP’s Tampines GRC stone for the elections on Saturday, he had been an Aljunied GRC MP since 2011.
A unique four-cornered struggle will take place in the Group Representation Constituency between the opposition’s WP, People’s Power Party, and National Solidarity Party, led by Mr. Masagos, who has defended the GRC of the Philippines since 2006.
Mr. Faisal made note of the fact that the GRC structure, as established by the PAP, required majority picture on Monday. And you may or may not realize it, I am in the majority for the team.
Noor Deros, a Malaysian spiritual teacher who mixes culture, religion, and elections on social media, received questions from him as well. Mr. Noor has criticized Mr. Masagos while urging voters to cast ballots for Mr. Faisal, and he also claimed to have met the Malay prospects for the WP.
Mr. Faisal stated that he was willing to meet “everyone for the sake of listening.”
He claimed that he has always pressed for open dialogue and has never shied from bringing up” sensitive” issues in congress.
” That’s the best course of action,” the statement read. He remarked that we must consider in diversity’s worth and elegance.
Mr. Faisal added that if these interactions are not kept secret and are not, they likely “one day blast up.”
” But it doesn’t think that when we listen to individuals, we agree with them,” he said.
