GE2025: Scrutinise WP’s plans, as there is ‘no silver bullet’ to challenges that Singapore faces, says PAP’s Edwin Tong

The People’s Action Party ( PAP ) is aware of the challenges that lie ahead for Singapore and that voters shouldn’t be swayed by “rhetoric” that promise a solution, according to Minister for Culture, Community, and Youth Edwin Tong at Bedok Stadium on Saturday evening ( Apr 26 ).

Don’t believe that someone says,” We have a solution, I have a solution.” Everything will be resolved by it. Voting us, not the PAP, and we will fix your problems. At the PAP’s East Coast rally, one of three taking place at the time, Mr. Tong said,” There is no silver bullet and this is a multifaceted, complex economic situation.”

” We have to go beyond just rhetoric and buzzwords in this election,” he continued.

In his speech, Mr. Tong, who is leading the People’s Action Party ( PAP ) team in the 2025 General Election, acknowledged that Yee Jenn Jong, his party’s candidate, wants Singapore to improve. &nbsp,

” I concur with him. We had all engage in politics to benefit Singapore and its citizens. However, this must also be done in a way that makes feeling, according to Mr. Tong.

Tan Kiat How, the senior minister of state for regional development and online growth and knowledge, Ms. Jessica Tan, as well as newcomers Hazlina Abdul Halim and Dinesh Vasu Dash, are the five members of the PAP’s five-member stone contesting East Coast GRC. &nbsp,

Simply Mr. and Ms. Tan have been removed from the party’s prior East Coast GRC slate for 2020 out of the five.
