Jurong Group Representation Constituency ( GRC ) has been created to create the new Jurong Central SMC. There are 29, 620 citizens, most of whom are from Jurong GRC and some from Yuhua SMC.
Mr. Philemon expressed his disappointment with the broken up of Jurong GRC.
” We genuinely wish we have Jurong GRC alive because we have done a lot of work there over the past five years, and team have been putting boots on the ground every week,” he said.
” But we find a small comfort in the fact Jurong Central SMC is ok, because this is a district where we have put a lot of effort,” he continued.

At Yuhua SMC, Grace Fu of the Singapore Democratic Party defeated Robin Low, who is already the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment.
Philemon and Mr.  reiterated the value of criticism cohesion and making efforts to avoid cross-cornered conflicts.  ,
Because opposition events are acutely aware that any three-cornered combat will only benefit the former,” I believe there will be very little or no three-cornered fight,” he said. He declared,” We did do our very best to avoid that.”
