GE2025: Plans for a ‘revitalised’ Pasir Ris-Changi GRC can only be put into action with residents’ support, says PAP’s Indranee

Ms. Indranee Rajah, the prime minister’s office’s minister, promised Pasir Ris-Changi Group Representation Constituency ( GRC ) voters that she would revitalize the town and improve transportation links, adding that this can only be done with voter support.

She also stated that her team would continue the plans begun under Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean, who was the GRC’s incumbent MP for 28 years, at a rally by the People’s Action Party ( PAP ) on Monday ( Apr 28 ), held at Tampines Meridian Junior College.

We need your assistance to implement these things. Voting is necessary. And we need a strong management team at the regional level as well.”

She said that “last hour gaps” such as linkways and barrier-free exposure are one of the PAP’s five-year programs for the district.

Better communication options are also being considered; the electorate will have four fresh MRT stations and get rail-connected to Changi Airport, Punggol, and Jurong.

Additionally, Loyang and Changi may be connected to Tampines via the Loyang tunnel, which is currently under construction.

Ms. Indranee said that while PAP intends to address issues like cost of living and employment at a regional level, it will also look into programs at a local level.

Her PAP friends, who were also speaking at the march, also addressed the rally. Ms. Indranee, a former deputy prime minister, Sharael Taha, a former deputy prime minister, and Valerie Lee, serves as the team’s leader. &nbsp,

After the electoral restrictions were redrawn, the Pasir Ris-Changi GRC, which has 100, 639 citizens, was created by combining some Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC regions with East Coast GRC adjacent areas.

PAP squares off against a staff from the Singapore Democratic Alliance that includes Desmond Lim, Abu Mohamed, Harminder Pal Singh, and Chia Yun Kai, the opposition group’s president.

Ms. Indranee criticized the notion that supporting opposition parties is required to appoint other voices in congress during a speech made on Monday at PAP’s midday rally in Raffles Place. &nbsp,

She claimed that such voices were already “guaranteed,” referring to the Non-Constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP ) process, which allows the “best losers” from among the opposition candidates to be elected as NCMPs if fewer than 12 opposition members are voted into parliament. &nbsp,
