On Wednesday ( Apr 30 ), the People’s Action Party ( PAP ) candidate for Bukit Panjang SMC Liang Eng Hwa declared it was “naive” for his only election opponent to believe that constituency projects would continue on “autopilot” under a new Member of Parliament ( MP ).
Prior to Singapore’s May 3 General Election, Mr. Liang, the president for the single-seat hospital, stated that “in my most of my years of serving as an MP and in Bukit Panjang city, really a major part of my work is to work with the government to provide much-needed projects to Bukit Panjang.”
